from SA to Harry Potter

Still don't know what to think about Johannesburg really. I enjoyed Soweto the most, apart from seeing friends. Central Joburg felt very scifi actually - I felt out of place goth-white cartoon character there. We stayed in Sandton - cool thing to see there was businessmen in all colors & races...otherwise it was cultureless global island which made me buy expensive shoes...

Two days in a safari where miraculous. Seeing the wildlife occasionally makes me want to wipe half of the mankind from our planet - call me inhuman bitch but I cannot help it...I feel inferior to an elephant.

I can tell you that touching a dolphin even in a bit tacky conditions is an earthshaking experience. I could not have cared less about couple of hundreds of spectators - I felt more inferior than to that elephant - I think I believe Douglas Adams about dolphins...

From Kwazulu- Natal very "african" feeling to Western Cape almost "northern" ruggedness. I love both, and I loved fighting with my maps in a car beside Kari.

Now I am home again - and there is so much stuff I am waiting for...not gonna do it just by sitting at home so need to make some phone calls to get something to do for living during the autumn....but first I need to read Harry Potter.
